Puffin Deject Browser is the client app that accesses the cloud server which runs the web browser. The Puffin client app and the Puffin cloud server do non communicate in HTTP protocol and the data commutation is not in HTML format. The Puffin customer app is like the remote desktop client and the Puffin cloud server is like the remote desktop server. Puffin Deject Browser gives the audition the illusion of a web browser but it is not, in reality, a spider web browser. Puffin Deject Browser tin only "display" the web content rendered on the cloud servers but can't "return" the web content itself on the client devices.

Amazing App- Furious about its Fate

I have used Puffin Browser on my iPhone for a very long time and it has followed through every device upgrade. It hands enabled cookies (took me awhile to figure out how to do and so on Safari) and allowed me to easily access the desktop site- destroying many bug that Safari gave me on several sites. I use Safari much more than I use Puffin, but for some sites, Safari does NOT suffice. I am a college student. I don't need a ton of bugs and malfunctions with higher websites just because Safari does non come up equipped with the ability to switch to the desktop version of a site. I had to fill out a very important awarding the other day and tried to practise then on Safari, simply had to swap due the "Save" and "Submit" buttons vanishing- I had to remember everything that I had typed and type it all up again every bit a event. I am extremely displeased with this unjust removal of a good app. Thanks a lot. I now have to discover a decent app that has the same abilities as Puffin so that i can complete important tasks or even just play a game and be able to see the whole screen. I'k going to miss that adorable European bird icon- puffins are very incredible creatures. I hope that the App Shop people will retract their decision and work with the app developers, considering the app was amazing.

When I showtime received my iPhone and iPad nearly 2 years ago, I found information technology pure madness that Apple products still did not support Flash. I had searched through various browsers, merely none seemed to support it either. The few that did were clunky, cost money, and one-half baked. When I had downloaded Puffin, I was tremendously pleased.

Using the browser was intuitive. I did not have to switch between functions to enable wink. I could scan freely and do what wanted without having to fight an application. Now over the final twelvemonth, Puffin has had issues and hiccups. It no longer functioned on my iPad, and even more recently nosotros've been advised they are closing service to Apple products. It's a shame when competition can do far superior to an existing system and said systems only response is to cake progress of contest. That's rather backwards one would think. Would it not be improve to improve so powerfully that the contest looks foolish in comparison? That'due south sadly a rare case.

To all the staff at Puffin and those whom made it the wonderful tool information technology is, thank you. Cheers for all your hard work, your wonderful design, and your having fought this hard this long. We are distressing to see yous go, merely always grateful for the fourth dimension yous fabricated things so much easier.

This browser ruined me!

I started using Puffin considering I wanted to access Flash games on my iPad. I'm no Flash fan by any means and I expect forward to it becoming unnecessary merely for at present in that location are still a few things that just tin can't be done without it, many games being the one for me. I tried several different browsers before I settled on Puffin every bit being the best I found for using Flash on iOS. When I started using information technology I had no idea but how fast information technology actually was. But I began noticing how impatient I had get trying to do annihilation with whatsoever other browser. I normally used Chrome, Firefox or Opera (and Safari when needed) and saw that I was beginning to click several times on the aforementioned link or button to try to get something to happen. Eventually I found myself cursing out loud at my iPad every time I had to use any browser besides Puffin. Now Puffin is my go to and I rarely use the others. I still use them when I need particular features but find myself doing then less and less and expect that eventually I'll rarely use annihilation but Puffin on my iPad. I only wish information technology was bachelor on my iMac. Perhaps information technology's not the perfect browser for everyone and if so I advise you not use it for too long or you may find it impossible to get back to what you had been using before.
